Exhibition Announcement

Hi everyone, I am happy to announce that I am part of a group exhibition for students of Paul Borg Art School. The works are all inspired by music which is what students were given the task of doing as a project, to create art inspired by music.

The show will be held at the Hunt Club Community and Arts Centre in Deer Park and will be open to the public from Monday 18th March until Monday 1st July so there is plenty of time to come have a look if you are interested.

The Hunt Club Community and Arts Centre is located on 775 Ballarat Road, Deer Park and is open Monday to Friday: 9.30am – 4.30pm (closed public holidays). Entry and parking is free. Visit their website for more: https://directory.brimbank.vic.gov.au/hunt-club.../

My painting titled “Breaking through” (as shown below) is inspired by the jazz composition by John Coltrane titled "Acknowledgement". More information on that will be able to be read on a label to be put up next to my work in the gallery. In addition, the labels for each artwork will all have QR codes taking you to audio of the music that inspired each artwork so you can listen to the music whilst at the exhibition!
